How to connect

  1. Open Workspace → Connections.
  2. Choose TikTok and press Connect.
  3. Sign in to TikTok and approve the permissions PW asks for.
  4. Open the TikTok app when a post arrives in your inbox, then finish and publish it there.
  5. Back in PW, choose what each AI employee may do with the connection.

Approvals and trust

Reading never needs your approval. Anything your AI employee writes or sends lands in Needs review first, and you approve it there. As you approve more of an employee's work you can trust it with a kind of work, and from then on that work runs on its own. Some actions, like public posts, always wait for you.

How employees earn trust

Limits

  • TikTok is not connectable yet. TikTok has not approved PW's app.
  • Posts arrive in your TikTok inbox as drafts. You publish them in the TikTok app (version 31.8 or later).
  • PW sends one JPEG photo per post with a title of up to 90 characters. Videos are not supported yet.
  • TikTok allows at most 5 unfinished inbox drafts per account in 24 hours.
  • TikTok has no API for comments or messages, so PW cannot read or reply to them.

What can my AI employee do here today?

Nothing yet. Sending photo posts to your inbox is built, but TikTok is not connectable until TikTok approves PW's app.

Why do I have to finish the post in TikTok?

TikTok only lets audited apps publish directly. Until PW is audited, posts go to your inbox and you publish them yourself.

Will a post reach TikTok without me approving it?

No. Every TikTok post waits in Approvals before PW sends it, and then you still publish it in the app.

Will PW reply to comments or messages on TikTok?

No. TikTok does not offer that to apps like PW.

What happens if I disconnect?

PW deletes the stored sign-in and stops sending drafts. Drafts already in your inbox and posts you published stay in TikTok.

Why did a post fail?

Usually the photo was not a JPEG, the title was over 90 characters, you already had 5 unfinished drafts, or TikTok asked you to reconnect.

Security and disconnecting

What PW keeps
The connected account's name and ID, the permissions you granted, and the sign-in tokens the provider issued. Never your password.
Encryption
Tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are stored and are only decrypted server-side at the moment an allowed action runs.
Disconnecting
Open Connections, choose the platform and press Disconnect. You can also remove PW's access from the provider's own app settings.
Deletion
Disconnecting deletes the stored tokens and switches off every permission for that account. Activity records stay in your audit log.
